We'll miss you Maggie and Kay!

Unfortunately this month we lost my grandma Kay on Monday, January 26th and we lost Don's grandma Maggie Tuesday, January 27th. Both of these women lived long lives but we will miss them tremendously. I went to my grandma's funeral last week and Don will head to New York for Maggie's service in a few weeks. We've had a rough couple of months but we are hoping only great things are in our future!

Disney World

It's been a long time since I've posted anything. Trying to think back to our busy months! It's kind of late but we did head to Disney World. We left Christmas Eve night and arrived to see Nana and Papa. The next morning we spent the day at Magic Kingdom. We had a wonderful time riding the rides and getting autographs from our favorite characters. We spent some time with me brother Jeff and his wife Melissa from Australia. We made many memories from our trip. As Anna said many times, "Can we move to Orlando?" I told her, "Sure as long as our friends and family all come too!"
I will post pictures soon!

Annabelle's trip to Great Wolf Lodge

Annabelle was invited to the Great Wolf Lodge with her best friend Ava. She wasn't so sure about going when she offered. Then she changed her mind, realizing it would be such a fun time. She had a wonderful time. I called to check on her and she didn't want to talk to me. She said, "I was having too much fun!" John and Karla Laffoon helped make this a very special Christmas trip with her best friend. They swam, played at the arcade, and even had a pajama party story time in the hotel lobby. She can't wait to go back!

Thanksgiving

We stuffed ourselves at Dan and Lulu's house with 18 guests total. It was a delicious meal and great company. As always, after the meal, we looked through store ads to check out the sales. But I like to go through them to get ideas on gifts for the family. I thought about going out for black Friday but that is about as far as I got. :)

Pumpkin Patch

We headed to the pumpkin patch with Aunt Lulu, Uncle Dan, Will, Aunt Emily, Uncle Dave and Grandad. The kids LOVED the zipline and the hill slides. It was a very cold day but we made the best of it. We got a good laugh everytime Alicyn would try to lift a pumpkin and it wouldn't even budge and lift off the ground. Annabelle had a great time and was constantly asking Uncle Dave for a ride on his shoulders.
